Gen Ramen

Really flavorful ramen, and the ramen to broth ratio was perfect. We tried each of the bao buns, the beef one was my fave though you can’t go wrong with any of them. We also tried the red bean ice cream and the red bean cream pie wasn’t what I was expecting but I loved that too. Not overly sweet, almost reminded me of frozen cool whip with red bean ice cream on top. It didn’t take long to get our food and service was very friendly. I like supporting local restaurants and will definitely be coming back!

This is a new Ramen spot near the wegmans and Costco near downtown Raleigh. Went here on a warm Wednesday afternoon for lunch. The place replaced the old Puerto Rican restaurant. The menu itself had every ramen option you could
Imagine along with a solid appetizer selection. We had pork dumplings which were very good. But the ramen was not great. They give you a good amount of food but the quality of the noodles was not great and the pork belly felt a little undercooked. We got spice level 2 which was surprisingly spicier than you’d think. So if you don’t like spice, stick with a 1.

Overall the food was a big let down, hoping they fix their quality.

Good ambience tho, I will debate on going back.

Delicious!! I wanted to like this place based on the menu & it did not disappoint. We loved all of our food!

Got two types of Ramen, they have different spice levels if you want. We also had a bao bun, seaweed salad, the 9-1-1 roll & a glass of wine. We finished it all.

We ate outside, it is a nice patio area.

Service was also impeccable. They brought out a bowl of water for my dog. I will definitely be back!

Pretty tasty. I should have got the ramen. I got a bun and a roll and was still pretty hungry. Some of my teammates got ramen and they were slurping till the bottom of the bowl. I like the decor and the staff was very welcoming. I would come back.

Great Food! I enjoy Ramen, and me and my wife found this new place so we had to give it a try.
Staff is great, we were welcomed immediately and given the Menu.
Food came in FAST, and it was really TASTY, and FRESH! My daughter. Enjoyed the Tempura which amd my Wife loved their Sushi.
Very satisfying portion, and lots of drinks to choose from.
