City Barbeque

City BBQ is one of my family’s favorite joints. I love the pulled pork and ribs. Unfortunately the ribs are tough about half the time I order them. When I ordered them today every single one of my half slab of ribs was so chewy I couldn’t eat them. At $13, that feels bad. Wish the ribs were more consistent, because they are amazing when they are falling off the bone!

Attempted to order online but could not make connection so called Lake Boone site directly snd ordered the mother load sampler. Unfortunately 3 of the items were left out and size of side items were very small for 6 people that the sampler was supposed to feed.
Meats were seasoned well.

This location is brand new and still figuring everything out. Some of our items were missing from out to-go order but the staff and manager quickly fixed everything. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The food was delicious. The brisket and banana pudding were definitely the favorites in our house. We will be eating here frequently!

Brand new City BBQ location on Lake Boone Trail. Friendly staff and great decor. Try the jalapeño cheddar sausage while you can. Seems like the portions are a little smaller than some of the other locations but I’ll check it out again to see if that’s the case.
