We were visiting in the area, so we looked at reviews to decide on a place. While this restaurant is not in "downtown", it is an upscale shopping town center. From the outside, it doesn't look like anything special. But once you step inside, you are in for a treat!
Atmosphere is celebratory and contemporary French. We came on a Sunday and it was VERY busy here. We were told it would be a 20-25 minute wait, which turned out to be exactly 25 minutes. We were seated and initially service was slow. It took a good 5-7 minutes before our server came by and told us the specials and gave us menus. We had to ask for a basket of bread, as the servers kept walking past us like we were invisible. I opted for brunch, while my spouse went for for a lunch special. Food was okay. Not "fantastic" as I would have expected from a place like this, but certainly not bad either. Service was again slow and my coffee cup went empty, and I had to ask a different server for a refill.
Overall, it is a nice place, and unrushed. Food is good, but service needs improvement.
This Brasserie got me really excited when I found it as a recommended location. The atmosphere is super cute and made me want to be in France even more than usual! We chose to sit by the bar area. There are large windows there and I would choose that section again especially if I went there at night. The food was incredible! Fresh and well prepared. I would definitely visit again or even bring guests who come to visit!
Basic French bistro that does everything you expect. Would love them to make a souffle for dessert. It was alright food and good place for a casual meal. Would love to see gnocchi without truffle cream and maybe tomato or something else
Some of the best French food I’ve ever eaten. The specials like mimosas for $2 were great! I’d have to say I think we had the best waiter in the place! His name was Caleb and his priority was making sure everyone of the 14 people in our group was happy and satisfied. He made the experience very special! I’m a visitor to Raleigh but this is a place I’d not only recommend but will make sure to visit again each time I’m here.
Absolutely wonderful service and food. Overall my partner and I had a great experience. The waiter gave us great recommendations and showed us the correct amount of attention--not too much and not too little. I hope to come back again soon.
