Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

This was my 4th time visiting Firebirds and as always the food was delicious! Because we visited later this time, the service wasn't as great as it has been but it wasn't horrible. The salmon was flavorful and the loaded potato was great! The meatloaf was was the best I've ever had! Definitely a restaurant you want to try if you haven't already.

Amazing, incredible, outstanding... must I go on?! Firebirds is everything I wanted and needed it to be every time I have gone. I first was introduced for a business lunch where I got a turkey club which was amazing and the largest side salad known to man. Recently I returned for Restaurant Week. The place was hustling and bustling as Restaurant Week truly brings out the crowds. There was a little bit of a wait although I made a reservation, but no more than 7-10 minutes.

I like the atmosphere. A nice lively place with a bar. The food is good. Our waiter wasnt very attentive but nice. A lot of movement so not the place a quiet romantic dinner but great for a social dinner.

I highly recommend the Meatloaf! It is amazing! Some of the best meatloaf in North Carolina! Quite expensive. Service can be rather slow... While I used to find this restaurant rather dirty, it has been nearly immaculate during my last few visits! Parking is a nightmare though...

Our dinner was okay but nothing super special. I've been to the fire birds at south point and had a great experience. Our server was good but we had to ask for silverware after our food was served. And my husband ordered a filet that he had to send back because it wasn't cooked properly. Overall I feel like this location needs a little bit of an update. The tables seemed worn and the overall feel of the restaurant just didn't feel special.
