Midwood Smokehouse

This place is absolutely delicious! My friends and myself were miserably full at the end. The apps were perfect and you cannot go wrong with the brisket. This place can take all of my money! Worth every penny!

Stopped in for a quick lunch on a Thursday afternoon. This is a sit down barbeque restaurant in the heart of Raleigh. They offer indoor and outdoor seating, quick service and friendly staff.
I ordered the Burnt Ends with Collards and hush puppies. The meal came with a garnish of pickled onions. Everything was cooked just as well as they cook it at Midwood in Midtown Plaza, Charlotte. Stop in, the longest wait is the wait to be seated. Everything is delivered quickly, you'll love it.

I feel bad about the four stars. The pork ribs I had are 5 star ribs. Great chew, rub, very tasty. The house pickles served with the ribs are perfect! Cuts the fat between bites, mmm. And I liked the mustard sauce. The service was great, very attentive, and helpful. And… the collards are bland. The NC sauces are just okay but to be fair, the ribs don’t need the sauce. Bottom line, I’ll be back to try more of the menu and if nothing else is great, I’ll still come back for the ribs.

Best BBQ place in town. The brisket is just like it is in Texas. The food is absolutely great. The service was awesome too. We waited a longer for our food but were pleasantly surprised by a complementary dessert. They have the best sweet potatoe fries too. I’ve never had Broccoli casserole but it’s on my favorites now. You gotta try this place out

The food was amazing!! 10x better than I was expecting. The restaurant is presented with a "local and chill" kind of atmosphere and the food is brilliant placed on the plate. All the flavors blend so well. I can tell it's going to start booming once the word gets around. The best part is the location and food 😁😋
