Great food! Good prices. Love the dumplings
The place is very clean. I saw the employee wiping down tables frequently during my stay. I ordered the steamed dumplings. They were good. You get 12, caution they are a bit smaller than typical dumplings. The dough is a little thick but it has just the right thickness to me. It's thick enough to hold the contents but thin enough not to overwhelm. The dining area is pretty narrow so takeout is better for this location. Staff are very nice. The employee walked over to me and handed me my food.
I love dumplings. When I go on vacations or travel for work I'm always on the lookout for local dumpling place so to say I was excited when I saw this place open not far from work would be an understatement.
These were probably the best dumplings I've ever had. The pan fried pork dumplings were amazing. Lightly fried, a little bit chewy. The pork was flavorful. Also had the beef scallions pancake, which was just as good. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of their menu.
This is an excellent little authentic Chinese restaurant right on Hillsborough street. The atmosphere is clean and modern. The food is delish. We ordered the roast pork and duck platter and the flank steak soup. The “large” portion sizes were quite filling. I’d definitely come back!
Loved the beef flank in the beef flank stew. The beef had so much flavor. Spot on. My only critique is that the noodles bring little to the dish. The broth is pleasant and mellow, but the noodles do not pick up much of the flavor of the broth. It relies alot on the beef shank for the major flavor. Otherwise a great dish. Can't wait to come back.
