Shawarma Stop

We went today and got their mix shawrma plate and it was the best shawrma we’ve tried in the whole area! It tasted like original flavorable shawrma that we used to get in Middle East! So good!

This afternoon, I felt hungry. So I grabbed my phone and searched for "Shawerma" the first word that came to mind. Shawerma stop showed up which is new to me. I haven't seen this place before. I hit the road right away...
The service was excellent, very warm and welcoming. Then came the food! Oh, the food!
This is now my favorite spot to get Shawerma amd Falafel in town.
If you want the authentic experience. Look no more!

We had a very one of a kind experience of having SHawarma in Syria 12 years ago and after that we were looking for that taste and could not find it anywhere unless this place!!! I'm telling you guys, if you are looking for a truly delicious Syrian Shawarma, don't waste your time or money in the wrong place! This place is where you SHOULD GO! The sauce the meal the portion, everything is at its best kind. If only they had their own place to make the atmosphere close to the middle east. Maybe some time in the future!

Found this place on accident by taking the wrong roundabout for work, but I am super happy I did make that wrong turn!

The man we talked with was kind and even gave us falafel to try to see if we liked it as well as a shawarma plate to try. My favorite thing to say is if there’s good people, then there’s good food! And the food is delicious.

We got the Mediterranean platter and the falafel platter and the shawarma plate to go.

I’m recommending this place to all my friends because it really is a hidden treasure and I wish more people knew about it!

This shawarma place has just opened! It’s located in the same building as Checkers pizza. First, the customer service was great, the man I spoke with couldn’t have been nicer. The meal wasn’t too expensive, and portion size is good.

I hadn’t had shawarma before, so I can’t speak to authenticity, but it was delicious! Perfectly cooked, and the meat plus sauce and pickles was a delightful flavor combo. I also got to try the rice which was exceptionally flavorful, the chicken kebab which was tasty as well. I was provided a few sauces to try and I would recommend them all!
For dessert I tried the baklava and I’ve gotta say it’s some of the best I’ve had in Raleigh.

This new spot is awesome and a great addition to the myriad of restaurants on Hillsborough street. Highly recommend checking it out!
