My entire experience was positive and full of flavor. Biscuits to start, had a bbq plate with two sides and the macaroni and cheese was my favorite. I was very full and happy. The staff is amazing as well. Great place for a family dinner too. Thanks

This place is AWESOME!! If you are ever in Raleigh - EAT HERE =) My ribs were fall off the bone delicious. The brisket was tender and sooo flavorful. Hush puppies were the best Ive ever had. Great great food. Price wise, it was not too bad. $15 to $20 a person will fill you up and then some. Atmosphere is college town relaxed but also remains professional. The servers have tried the food and can give first hand recommendations.

Great service, good food. Nice not to have a ton of TV's all over the place. A good selection of local craft beer. I tried the fried okra (amazing), the potato salad (okay), brisket (very good), and shredded pork. Prices were a good value for amount of food and the quality of food. If I come back to NC, I'd go back.

A little disappointed. Came on a Tuesday night. Easy valet parking. No wait. Wait staff was pleasant. Took our order quickly. The food came out very quickly which was a little surprising.

We ordered chopped plate, combo pulled and fried chicken as waiter raved on it. The food came out extremely fast and we commented on that.

Pulled pork in fried chicken collards and mac and cheese sodas. The hush puppies and biscuits were hard and cold. As was the fried chicken that's why the service was so quick. It had been sitting and was not prepared fresh.

Very disappointed a much different experience than in the past. Definitely did not receive the value expected for the price. Not sure I can recommend.

Very very good. The fried chicken was the best I've ever had and that's not an exaggeration. The brisket was not that great but the quality of the other dishes made up for it. The potatoes and gravy so good. Mac and cheese so good. Brunswick stew so good. Two thumbs up. Plus the dessert was heaven
