Tuscan Blu Italian Restaurant

If you are looking for traditional Italian, seriously look no further. I have eaten food all over the world and I was so very pleasantly surprised. I originally stopped in for a glass of wine on Raleigh's First Friday's! I came for (A) glass and stayed for appetizers that blew my mind and DINNER! lol The very unassuming Tuscan Blu serves up an Amazing experience! The food was so delicious that I have become a regular! I love this place! So! If you are in town or on business or are a local, YOU HAVE GOT TO STOP IN!!! The owner is always there. You will not be disappointed.

The best Raleigh has to offer. The absolute best lasagna, gnocchi, pasta and Italian seafood around. I’ve been to them all and this place is it. It’s small and intimate, makes you feel like you’re in Tuscany. Perfect for a date also. Owner is authentic so give it a chance. Tell him Chris sent you.

Came here during restaurant week for dinner. They had two sets of dinner prices, one $20 menu and one $30 menu. We tried both and found both to be very tasty. The caesar was salad was very flavorful. The chocolate mousse cake and the cheesecake require special mention. We were already quite full from the salad and entree but couldn't stop eating the desserts!

I was impressed with the service and the food was absolutely delicious! We came on a Sunday evening without a reservation, and the owners accommodated us without delay. The meal was excellent for everyone in our party. The portobello ravioli was very tasty with a light-tasting Alfredo sauce. We also had dessert. The chocolate mousse cake was also delicious. Patricia and Maurizio, the owners, were attentive and she checked on us and made sure we were happy throughout our meal. I will definitely return here!

Restaurant week. Wanted the lunch, but only dinner was available...so $20.00 each instead of $10.00. That being said, the meal was well worth it. Shrimp pasta dish was very good. Chicken Marsala was delicious, and house salad and dressing were light and fresh. Best though was the lasagna. Very, very good. Owner's mom's recipe we were told...delicious.
