“My wife surprised me with a guided fly fishing trip with Chetola as part of my graduation present, and I could not have been happier. We had an absolutely amazing time and made some great memories. While I have fished my entire life, I am relatively new to fly fishing, and this trip was truly something special. Our guide Dustin Coffey was excellent and made the trip even better with his fun loving personality, and his incredible skill and knowledge of the sport. I felt confident in my abilities before the trip, but Dustin showed me a variety of techniques to improve my cast and furthered my knowledge of fly fishing in general. But the highlight of the trip for me was when my wife landed her first fish ever, a beautiful brown trout. Dustin was a fantastic teacher and guide, we would go back in a heart beat.”

“This place is a hidden gem! Everything was so simple but delicious it was awesome finding a chill place off the beaten path and we could enjoy our lunch in the fresh air! I ordered the Greek and my husband got the American. The Greek was super delicious with the feta and olive combo the flavors just meshed really well with a salty and meaty tang. The American was a classic grilled cheese just done super well. The bread was delicious and perfectly toasted and perfectly stood up to the warm gooey insides without falling apart. The accoutrements and flag decorations were the perfect addition it was so cute! We'll definitely come back next time we're in the area!”

“We went in without a reservation. I would recommend a reservation, that being said. We were welcomed and Zoey was more than helpful in cleaning the bar area for us. Amy the bartender was very knowledgeable and made us feel right at home. Gary and Kathy was as welcoming. The food was superb, pasta dish was amazing and the special for the night: scallops and crab meat served over creamed corn, the best and this is coming from someone who does not eat scallops. I highly recommend this restaurant.”

“Absolutely beautiful! Went at night and they have a really nice fire pit with comfy seating. Plenty of tables and chairs and a couch you can relax on. The downstairs bar was VERY nice too. Doesn't seat a large crowd but doesn't feel cramped when busy. Everyone that works there is super nice and went out of their way to be helpful. An absolute must for a date night or small gathering of friends! Definitely will be going back! Next time I'll take some pictures.”

On multiple occasions ( every time I go) me and the owner lock eyes and I say something to the extent of, "Howre you doing today?" "Been busy?" "The food here is great, really good prices!" etc, and not once..NEVER. Have I gotten a response from her. You would think with how attentive her eyes are to staying locked in on you that she is anticipating to say something. At this point when I go in I intentionally talk as much as possible, just for the giggles. Its especially funny when someone goes in with me because that is a emotionless face. Someone should write a documentary about this lady. Shes stone cold. Its honestly worth the visit solely to see what bad service really is, I cant help but smile every time I go in here. The service really is just part of a good experience for me at this point but first timers may not think this way.”
