Tipton's Bar-B-Que

Tiptons is closed now. A new restaurant will open in its place called Heavy Smoke. While it was open the food was good, the atmosphere was casual and the service great. This place had the potential to be a great sports bar/restaurant but didn't quite catch on. I cant wait to see what the new place will be and excited for some great food.

They are very nice folks. Awaiting the reopening of the renovated restaurant!

The most amazing BBQ place I have been to. Food is great and portions are enormous. We will be back.

We enjoyed the food and would give it 4 stars and pricing seemed fair, the service was 5 stars, but the bathrooms are 1 star and made me concerned about the hygiene here.

Food: we got chopped pork shoulder and smoked turkey. They were fine and not over seasoned. We appreciated that there was a sign for what they were out of tight when we walked in so we didn't get our hopes up after looking at the whole menu. The plain ranch dressing was VERY delicious and they said they make it in house. Steak fries seemed to be frozen, not fresh made in house. Cole slaw was really good but tasted like maybe it has dairy? Something to watch ask about if you need to avoid it.

Bathroom: There were pink rings inside the ladies room toilets, which means they're not bleached weekly, and the toilet was very wobbly.

I hope the kitchen is in better shape than the bathrooms.
