(August 18, 2018, 10:02 pm)Trout skin was crispy and buttery delicious. The spätzle was slightly crunchy and also very delicious. I’ve had better trout flesh before; perhaps this was frozen at some point?
Justin, our server, was attentive and got all the special orders right.
You can’t beat this view of the mountains and the golf course, from the porch. -

The restaurant is a cross between fast food and fine restaurant, so it attracts everyone. Quaint, family run, great location looking out at Mt. Mitchell on the golf course.

(May 8, 2018, 12:48 am)Excellent food, great atmosphere, great service! What more could you ask for! Fresh food, they have it, each plate made to order, nothing sitting in a warmer. Adult beverages, they have it! Great views, they have it, wonderful view of Mt Mitchell! Really what more could anyone want! This place is the best around, try it for yourself and see!
