Gar and Mar Jamaican American Cuisine

This was my second time going. The staff is very welcoming, answered all my questions. I ordered food to go. I ordered the Jerk Chicken meal, it was perfect!! The flavor was spot on, rice and cabbage was delicious. I did order the jerk wings as an appetizer, I was surprised those weren't prepared similarly to their other chicken dishes, I wish they were grilled or broiled and the sauce wasn't as spicy as that on my meal. Overall, great experience, I'll definitely be back!

Ok listen, This is some of the best food i've ever eaten in my life! First of all, The service and the people are amazing here! We wanted to try so many things. It smelled so good as soon as you walked in the door! We had Jerk Shrimp, Jerk Ribs, Curry Chicken, & Fried Green Tomatoes as an appetizer. The Jerk Sauce, I don't even have words for it, it's phenomenal!! Thanks Destiny, Mar, & Gar! We will be back very soon!!

It was a by chance encounter and I am throughly impressed!!! The food was authentic with the true flavors!! Affordable and delicious!! I recommend this to anyone who's looking for spme good authentic Jamaican!!! Next time we are dinning in!!

What a wonderful experience and the food was FANTASTIC! I had the ox tails! Phenomenal! Visited a 2!d and 3rd day for the Snapper escovitch and okra. So good! My new favorite Jamaican spot!
