Avo Modern Mexican

One of the best restaurants in Cleveland that's open late. We came into town a little late and found this gem open late with a tasty yet healthy late night menu. The avocado Guacamole is sooooo good and fresh and the tacos were amazing. The drinks are pretty good too.

I guess it does pay to advertise on TV! I have seen their TV commercial many times, decided to go there for dinner and did not disappoint. Great location, nice atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent food. Here's a menu tip, many places have guacamole, but, the one we tried with the fresh mango was one of the best we've ever had in a restaurant. Nice to support local restaurant owners as well.

Being from southern California, I have relatively high expectations when it comes to eating Mexican food. With that said, Avo Modern Mexican, blends old classic dishes with a new modern twist to the taste. They have a variety of different avocado spreads (basically guacamole), and they're tacos are fantastic. Also, they make their own tortilla chips. Now sadly I went in for their late night happy hour menu, so their food options were limited. If I were staying longer in the area, I would go back during dinner hours to see the entirety of what they have to offer.

Absolutely amazing. First, the tacos. Tracks with some of the best in the city. They make their tortillas in house, and the quality really shows.

Second, the cocktails. All the juice is fresh squeezed that day, so you don't have that artificial taste at a lot of other places. Avo seems to really care about their product.

I was skeptical that they could replace Bakersfield, but they have done a phenomenal job and surpass their predecessor

Had lunch here on Wednesday. I had a lavender margarita
, which was delightful. I had a sandwich that was excellent, and guacamole and chips. All great, in fact, I ate way too much! The service was prompt efficient and gracious. The place was spotless, and they do a great job separating patrons. Very impressed with the care they took with sanitizing—felt very safe here. Will return for sure
