Bakersfield Cleveland

Great service cold drinks and the tacos were great. The guac was pretty good not the best but pretty solid! I loved the speed of the food delivery.

When I was home for the holidays, a friend took me to dinner at Bakersfield. I was a little skeptical, I mean, how could you improve on tacos. I was pleasantly surprised by the options on the menu and the waitress was very helpful in choosing my tacos. Just fabulous!! The guacamole is fresh and delicious. This will be a staple restaurant each time I come home!!

Bakersfield is the armpit of California, so I wasn't expecting much from this place. I don't understand what the owner's fascination with that town is, but for whatever reason, they did a good job recreating the atmosphere and culture. We had some good tacos, and some mediocre tacos. We ordered three of the same, and each one was a different color and had a different taste to it. One of them was amazing one of them was mediocre and one of them what is extremely watered down. Just like Bakersfield the town, I would stop in if it was the only option around, but I can't imagine going out of my way to eat here again.

There's a lot I like about this place - the food is divine, the drinks are good, and happy hour is an absolute steal for the quality of what you're getting. Really cool place to go with friends of legal drinking age. The guacamole is definitely chunky, which I found I didn't mind because it was just so tasty. I had tacos al pastor during happy hour - it was like $2 for a taco, so I got three - and can honestly say it's the best $2 taco I've ever had. Flavor was phenomenal.

It’s good. Just not amazing. Great deals on the daily shots tho. Maybe a taco platter for 2 would be cool to try?!!?!? ????????‍♂️????????‍♂️ The margaritas were amazing
