“We went to Marotta's for dinner on a quiet Tuesday night. The meal and service was excellent. I had the shrimp gremolata and it was well worth the price.I ordered the Chianti Classico and it was a wonderful accompaniment to the meal. Dessert was the lemon sorbet and it was a deliciously refreshing end to an excellent meal. The pizza is good, but so are the rest of the items on the menu.”

“Great spot in Little Italy. This is authentic Italian food, the anti olive garden! There is valet parking available, but you have to be patient. Otherwise you might have to hunt for parking for awhile and walk... a lot. Really enjoyed the vibe of this place. They play the film La Dolce Vita (an old black and white Italian movie “The Sweet Life”) on the wall during the evening.”

“After several visits I can say Dagu is a solid choice. Their offerings aren't exceptional or soulful but are good and consistent from visit to visit. I like that they have several reasonably priced small plates (try the lotus root). You can put together a meal with a few dishes for under twenty bucks. That's a nice option to have.”
