Jana's Mediterranean Deli

This place is great. You can tell it's family owned and operated; the workers seem to genuinely care about you having a great meal. The meat pie was phenomenal. We tested (free samples) the buffalo, jalepeno and brought home the pickle hummus (see pic).

Very nice people. Chicken shwarma is awesome. Tried a few of the meat and veggie pies and hummus flavors. Really good and fairly priced. A nice go to option

Jana's Deli is a welcoming addition to Lakewood's vast food scene. The food was made to order fresh with generous portion sizes. Several different and unique hummus flavors. The grape leaves were also amazing. The deli also offers a small grocery section with the highlight for me being the bulk seasoning section (garlic powder, cinnamon, all spice, and many more). The staff was also friendly and a pleasure to speak with.

There are so many tubes of different kinds of hummus, it looks like an ice cream shop!
The prices are reasonable, and the folks working there are always really friendly. If you have any dietary restrictions ( vegan ), if you let them know they can accommodate you!
Besides the food counter, there is also a small selection of Mediterranean groceries, candy, soda, and fresh fruut.
I recommend the spinach pies ????
