Olivers On Lynn Alley

The Mac and cheese burger was amazing, either would have been good on their own. The chips and queso didn't blow my mind, it kinda tasted like the stuff from the jar which wasn't really what I was expecting. The restaurant is long and narrow with a stage for live music. Good bourbon selection, if that's your thing, but they do have other offerings as well.

After looking at the menu online thought this was a perfect place for dinner before the theater. If this is the reason you would consider Oliver’s then think twice. The menu was not what was represented on the website. When we questioned this we were told they do a limited menu on show nights so they can move patrons through. We had a 6:00 reservation and as we were leaving around 7:15 we noticed that they were seating patrons with a more extensive menu.
Example is they state burgers and steaks are a feature item. There were no steaks on the menu and the only steak was supposedly a special that night.
If they are going to do this then state this on the website that there is a limited menu on show nights. If we had known this would have probably picked a different place.
Bottom line probably a good place with food and entertainment but if you are planning dinner on a show night take a pass.

Good food. Waitress seemed to want to get out of there quickly. We had to wait a while for service, because they were pretty busy. The food and sodas were very good though. And the atmosphere was very cozy. I would go again. #romantic

Excellent environment, friendly service, great menu choices and really decent food and at affordable prices. Will be back.
