I ate here with my son on a busy Saturday morning. The food was good and the server went above and beyond, even with a packed restaurant. They even gave me a coffee to go which was genuinely appreciated.
Love this place. I come once or twice a month. Service is a bit hectic but they get the job done and the food is delicious yet priced appropriately.
We tried tgis place based on its reviews and it lived up to our expectations. Nice cozy spot downtown. The food was delicious and price cant be beat. The service was welcoming and attentive.
I've heard many great things a few years back when they decided to open up this location in downtown Columbus. Being that I had time for brunch over this past weekend I decided to finally give it a try.
Upon arrival to the restaurant, we were left to confusion if we should see ourselves or if someone would come up to greet us. A woman from the kitchen yelled out that someone would be with us in a few moments. At this point in the day, there were only about 4 tables occupied leaving many seating options available. About five minutes after the woman indicated she would be with us, she came out and told me I could sit at 1 table and pointed to it and the couple behind me could sit at another and pointed to a different table. Not as welcoming as I anticipated from the hype I've heard.
Overall the main two waitresses appeared to be overwhelmed by the service they we're trying to provide. Our waitress almost ran into us twice as we were about to leave.
The food was good. A good dinner breakfast. The orange juice is fresh. That was definitely the best part.
I really like the location, being right downtown. The clientele was very diverse and pleasant.
It may be a place I'll go again but not a place I recommend, unless you want some really awesome OJ.
They are somewhat expensive, and most times the food is good. But other times thr food can be overcooked or dried out. But I enjoy going every other Saturday for breakfast and catch up on the news without disruptions. Oh, one of the servers calls everyone sweetie. I'm not fond of being called terms of endearment when you don't know me. But it's a cool spot.
