Wanted a quick breakfast this morning but didn't want the same old chain food so I tried Paul's on Fifth for the first time. Like others said--Friendly staff :). I had the Early Riser with ham. The ham was tasty and a good sized portion. Told my coworker that I felt like I had just eaten a home cooked meal. I'm looking forward to going back.

I ate with several friends recently [1-27-2019] at Paul's Fifth Avenue. This restaurant had opened in 1966 [several blocks away] as "Paul's Pantry," moved to its current location in 1979, was renamed "Paul's Fifth Avenue" during the early 1990s, closed briefly during 2016, and then reopened in 2016.

It had been clear to me during our extended meal at Paul's Fifth Avenue that this restaurant has been a neighborhood favorite for many years. The parking lot had been completely filled on a Sunday afternoon [you know, the "after-church crowd"] so we had had to park in the bank parking lot next door.

I ordered and ate a "Crazy Burger" which had been described on the menu as "crazy good."

This huge sandwich had included a large hamburger patty, several pieces of smoked bacon, a ½-inch-thick "macaroni-and-cheese patty" [that obviously had been cooked on the grill], and pepper jack cheese. Oh, and course the very large hamburger bun. This huge sandwich had been served with lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles.

I have learned when eating sandwiches that thick and with so many moving pieces to eat them with a knife and fork.

I expect to return to Paul's Fifth Avenue the next time when I am in the area.

The service staff was very fast and friendly. The food was also fairly priced and delicious. Great spot to go for breakfast. We didn't realize they served alcohol when we went but they do have some good breakfast drinks.

This place is serious about their food!! It's SO good! Every time we have gone, everything always comes out hot and fresh no matter if it's busy or slow. This is the kind of place where it doesn't matter what you get, it's all delicious! And the portions are very good for the price, you will never leave hungry. Staff is always great and very friendly. Thank you Pauls Fifth Avenue and thank you to all of the staff! You do excellently!!
