Philco Bar + Diner

Read where this place has the number one burger in Columbus. I don't know about that but it's a really good burger. What impressed me was the service was excellent. Very laid back and friendly for a upscale burger joint. They didn't even know that their burger was voted number one. The fries are freshly made and you can tell. I was really impressed. And my partner was too.

Awesome meatloaf, the tempura green beans were killer. It's a tiny place, so expect a wait. But excellent food in a neat atmosphere.

Philco has a special place in my heart. Its a good place to stop to get something to eat in the Short North. The offerings are unique, original, and definitely delicious. This is a must for any foodie. Parking my be an issue, but its certainly worth the effort. Also, One Line Coffee is next door, great for a post meal pick me up.

The biscuits and jam here are really lovely, and if you get a chance, definitely get a cocktail or two here. Otherwise, the rest of the menu isn't particularly memorable (we except for the fact that the food tends to lean towards the saltier side). Decor is cute and it's a cozy spot, so it's a good place to go if you're looking to catch up with one or two friends. The servers are all very friendly and down to earth, which is another thing that I like about Philco.

Very nice little diner in the Short North. Food was very good and a solid selection of beer with other drinks. The prices were totally worth the quality of food but the portions weren't the largest. Definitely worth the trip.
