Rishi Sushi Kitchen & Bar

Coming from out of town we were looking for some good sushi. Little did we know we come across incredible sushi and wonderful service. It was the best sushi I’ve ever had up and down east coast. It made Columbus a highlight and set the tone for the weekend to be rememberable!!!

I can't say enough good things about this place. I was traveling alone, so I sat at the bar for dinner. I got expert help with the extensive sake list and very attentive service throughout my meal. The food was very good and the portions large. Quite reasonable. When I returned a few days later, the staff not only remembered my name, they remembered everything I had to eat and drink previously. I have rarely felt so comfortable and welcomed in a restaurant while traveling.

Love this place. Great food. Fresh sushi. I dine here whenever I'm in town.

Overall the experience was ok. The food was good, the happy hour specials were good, and my beer was unique and good. It took us a few minutes to get seated and the server forgot our appetizer order, but that wasn’t the annoying part. It was finally the attention we received when exiting the restaurant. Literally every person said some variation of “have a nice night” on our way out the door which was just different from the seating/dining experience. I then had to return for an item we left behind and the host ran away to run food and the bartender sat playing on his phone. I write this review not to say “I’d never go back there”, but more as a word of caution to the manager/owner. I want to feel like a valued patron on my way in the door and at the table, not on my way out. It all just left something to be desired.

Fun restaurant, good service, yummy cocktails! This was a sleek restaurant with a friendly staff. It is on the pricier side, but that is to be expected from a sushi restaurant. Had a wonderful meal and beverages. The GM (Josh?) came by to check on us to make sure we were enjoying our experience, so that was sweet. Lots of windows to watch the street activities. I should have taken some sushi shots, but I was too hungry to pause. ????
