The Cheeseburgers were tasty! They use Martin's Potato Rolls (Google it!)for the buns! They are the best rolls for burgers! Chicken bites were flavorful! Fries - hot and crispy! We had a sesame shake which totes tastes like peanut butter- delicious! And the seasonal local peach pie concrete- yum! It's totally an East Coast thing so ya'll need to get hip- you're missing out!! It was very busy when we arrived but service was excellent and quick! The cleanliness of the dining area was outstanding!

    5 Stars: Food and Service

    3 Stars: Overall Logistics

When you enter you're funneled into a partitioned area to order your food.

Along the wall are about 5 self-order stations. You can also skip those and place your order at the register, but this option isn't very clear. There also isn't enough space to get by the people that are placing their order at the kiosk.

This all results in a line much longer than it needs to be. Worse, the only waste receptacles inside the restaurant are typically blocked by people waiting to place their order.

Then after waiting to place your order, you have to wait again to receive your order, and you might have to wait yet again just to sit at a table.

I'm sure this isn't as much of an issue during off hours, but in general it seems like the restaurant currently isn't capable of keeping up with demand.

One suggestion would be to reduce, or even eliminate, the self order kiosks. I do not think it's possible for the kitchen to keep up with that many orders coming in at one time.

They could be replaced by a mobile app that would notify customers when their orders are ready. This would help reduce congestion inside the restaurant.

If done correctly, the app could be incorporated into an overall system for managing order volume in such a way that it's PULLING orders based on kitchen and seating capacity, rather than PUSHING orders onto the kitchen.

Went on a Sunday afternoon. Our food was made correctly and within 5 minutes. Even though it was busy. It was great too! Their burgers are made to order. So if it's really busy. Don't expect to have you food right after you pay for it.

If you do go during peak hours. You may have an issue finding a table. So be patient. Especially if you have a large group. We were able to find a seat by the time our food was ready.

The prices are comparable to Five Guys and the burgers are just as good. They do have less topping options though. I don't mind but others may. I like my burgers simple. I don't need 15 toppings thrown on them.

The food here is incredible and well worth the wait. But, just like anything good… There’s definitely a long wait. There are not a lot of seating options inside for large groups over five people. So, there are a lot of people standing, waiting around by your table for you to leave. There are also Apple Pay options at kiosks when you first walk in, to expedite your order.

I thought I'd give everyone a more recent update now that this location has been up and running for a month or two. Went in on a Wednesday afternoon at about 4:45pm. Ordered from the tablet, which was easy. We got a regular burger, a double burger, chicken nuggets, one order of fries and two shakes for around $40. The restaurant was around 3/4 full. We received our food in 6 minutes. Everything was fresh and hot, except for the nuggets, which were more lukewarm. The fries and the burgers - WOW. They definitely know how to do those right. Chicken nuggets were fine, tender and juicy, but not hot enough. Shakes were so-so. I got chocolate and my boyfriend got cookies and cream. The cookies and cream was a very subtle flavor, almost tasted like just vanilla. The chocolate shake was not bad, but it definitely does not have a traditional chocolate syrup flavor...more of a cocoa/dark chocolate flavor. Overall, would definitely recommend at least trying shake shack as long as you know that you'll be spending $15-20/person and you may wait some time for your food!
