Having to wait for someone to give me my order defeats the purpose, especially if there's no one behind the counter or they're just not paying attention. This is the only place where I have to wait to pick up my order. I think I'll try a different store until this is straightened out”

“Self proclaimed foodie that over the years has become more and more critical with my food selections. Was super excited to come here. The prospect of a tap room with both wood fired pizza and a Philly cheese steak was exciting. The atmosphere was great. Loved the seating, loved the big TV's and bar. Beer selection is good. Menu looked amazing... but left me disappointed. The fried portabella mushrooms were overcooked and over battered. Had so much potential! The Philly cheese steak was incredibly salty, dry, cheese less and almost inedible. The wood fired pizza good, but still salty. The Elliot salads were good, great cut in the greens and the dressing was good. Can see this place being super appealing to the younger crowd or those less discerning to the finer details in flavor profiling.”

“Yes, it's in a gas station. Yes, it's not well publicized. But they actually have good food here and a decently cozy sit down space if you really want to sit in a gas station. At the time of my posting, they have a wide variety of options that outcompete the area with options. Though they have very little traffic. All options are made with fresh ingredients to the point that other than people knowing about it, or the help not having enough of a crowd to really have a groove in preparing the menu items, this place rocks. I think if it catches on, they will have preparation problems because it seems like they prepared to staff it similarly to how they prepared to advertise it, which seems not at all. I would start with a grab and go with a bit of patience and expect an increase in volume to lead to more staffing. They have help wanted signs up, so there is hope! Final conclusion, great food but can they deliver?”

“This was our 1st trip to Soulshine and it was delicious. It wasn't very crowded for a Wednesday, but it's 1/2 off wine bottles, so, if you like a delicious wine, you should go. The service was spot on and the food not only came out quick, but was perfectly cooked and delicious. I would definitely recommend if you are in the New Albany area. We will be returning as there were numerous items on the menu that sounded delicious.”

“The atmosphere was nice and the food was good (if a little expensive) but more of a couple's dining or a small group. I went by myself, wouldn't recommend as a solo lunch spot. I was a little disappointed in their limited food menu, especially when compared to their massive drinks menu (mostly wines). My waitress was pleasant, however, she was seemingly staring into my soul and was somewhat unsettling. Personally, I would've preferred her "assistant" wait me. She was more of a shadow than anything but it felt like she was much more natural. All in all it was a decent dining. I'm sure I'll have a better review if I go in with company.”

“My family and I went to this restaurant and what a big variety of food to choose from. It's a very popular restaurant because there was quite a line to get in. The food was perfect. The staff was very helpful and courteous. We weren't rushed at all. It was a nice family dinner. Since families are welcomed there it can get a bit loud, but they have the larger televisions there to watch sporting events.”
