Oh my. Stopped in for lunch. One of the BEST burgers I've ever had. The best wings. The sauerkraut balls were so good and unfortunately those are being removed from the menu. The staff even said those were a best seller so I don't understand that. Highly recommend this place. Oh and a really nice ambiance as well.
I Love the Old bag of nails on High at. Worthington! Oh my Gosh we had Onion rings with a special horseradish sauce and then I had this huge salad. I think it was the best chicken ( full of goodies ) salad I've ever had!!!! Oh, I had two bloody Mary's and shared a bread pudding with Brandy sauce and real vanilla ice cream!!!! I split it with my son. Didn't eat anything the rest of the day Lol....This was so Devine that I can't wait till we go again!!!!!!
The fish sandwich was very good... cold water white fish, battered and fried and served up with fresh tartar sauce on a firm bun. I asked the kitchen to split the sandwich and they very kindly accommodated me and brought out two plates, 1/2 of a large sandwich on each replete with plenty of steak fries. My companion allowed me the better seat, looking at the (very pretty) bar. His seat looked right into the kitchen and the door was open the whole time and it was bright and loud...not very "cozy pub" like. The pub salad was also delicious and the service (Jennifer) was friendly and excellent.
Like the Businessman's Lunch special. Good selection of beers (wish they would provide a list for ease of selection). Good food. Bill is an excellent server.
You won't leave here hungry!! They offer an option of all-you-can-eat fish and chips or a standard order. The standard order came with three very large pieces of fish which my friend couldn't finish in one setting. Crispy breading on the outside but tender, moist dish on the inside. I only had an appetizer of the sauerkraut balls. It was a generous portion, fried to perfection and served with a delicious, tangy horseradish sauce. Very tasty! We had great, friendly service and did not have to wait long for the food to be served once ordered. Definitely a pub atmosphere. One of my favorite places to visit when in the Columbus area.
