The food, cleanliness and atmosphere were all lovely. We, sadly, didn't have time to explore the grounds, but what little we saw of them were well maintained and we hope to come back again sometime to explore the trails and such. Definitely try the 6/7-course dinner if you stay. The food is so good we're debating driving down just to try it again.

Every aspect of our stay was magical. It was the most relaxing and romantic place we have been in a long time. The accommodations, staff, grounds, food, value for the dollar, everything was just outstanding! We have already booked a return visit. We also had several staff members tell us how great the management and ownership of the inn are. Just a top notch organization in general.

Beautiful place with a great, relaxing atmosphere. My wife and I wanted a weekend to relax and rejuvenate, and this was perfect. We stayed in the beautiful Mackenzie suite. Yeah, it isn't cheap, but with amazing food (I had so much fun seeing what was next in the multi-course meals) and an incredible location that includes a gorge and several waterfalls within an easy walk, it was well worth the splurge. Service was incredible, and, if you roam around the woods, you might even find some surprises among the trees! As our time at Glenlaurel ended with bagpipe music drifting across the green hills, the feeling of peace was sublime and well worth it.

My wife and I came here for our 13th anniversary. It was truly wonderful. The cottages are clean and homely. Loved the private hot tub outside. The walking trails are beautiful. The breakfast was delicious and they had gluten free options for my wife who requires a GF diet, she was very pleased about that. They left us a small, complementary anniversary commemorative in our bedroom which was a really nice touch. Service is very friendly and the facilities are well maintained. Can't wait to come back and stay longer.
