Granville Inn

My partner and I stayed here the night of November 1, 2022. We had a fabulous experience. The inn is a historic treasure and the rooms are elegant. It was like staying in a time capsule (the inn was built in 1924). The complimentary lunch was the best I have ever had. I am used to continental breakfasts or steam tables with overcooked food. Not here. We also had dinner in their restaurant the evening of the 1st. The shrimp & grits was unique (the chef is from Alabama, so he knows what he is doing), and the French onion soup was the best I have ever had. A bit pricey but worth it! After all, you are surrounded by dark wood paneling and doted upon by the waiter. Finally, all members of the staff were very nice and eager to accommodate. Overall, I cannot think of any complaint (believe me, this is quite rare for me).

A beautiful fall day drive to Granville was so satisfying with the leaves changing and falling. And stepping into the Granville Inn for brunch accentuated the feeling. What a calm, warm setting for feeding our body and soul. Can’t go wrong with the Granville Inn breakfast-eggs done perfectly, bacon, oh so smoky tasty, the croque madam was beautiful and delicious-sunny side up egg melded just right with the cheese and ham. So relaxing. We only wished we had stayed the night to extend the experience. Just go and see!

We celebrated our grandparents/parents 60th anniversary tonight, and I can’t think of a better place to have celebrated it at. My uncle got a reservation in advance, and we had a private room for 12. They really took care of us from the time we walked in until we left.

All of the food was amazing, no complaints. At all!

10 out of 10 would definitely recommend. The building is super cool too.

Wow! This inn is stunningly beautiful. The Granville Inn offers quiet and relaxation in an upscale environment. Our room was cozy and romantic with gorgeous stone walls. Luxurious, and at a reasonable price. The restaurant is wonderful as well! Staff here is helpful and responsive. I’d come back any time I’m in the area!

There's not enough words to describe this AMAZING place! My 1st time in Ohio and I was lucky to get a room here. This hotel is the cleanest I have ever stayed at! The people who work here in every department are the nicest most welcoming people! I felt so at home here it was hard to leave! The food at the restaurant was delicious and overall ambiance is gorgeous! It's not fair to give a 5 star rating when they deserve 100 more! They don't disappoint! I have stayed in countless hotels over my years of traveling, and this tops them all! I'll be back here for sure. Thank you to the kind staff for everything. They were welcoming for me to take photos in my cosplay there as well. ❤️ I adore it here!!
