“There is something to be said when salt and pepper aren’t already on the table when you are seated. Everything you order is perfectly seasoned. The food was amazing and the service was stellar. The chef/owner (Jeff) made numerous table visits to check on the patrons. He was very approachable and attentive. The booths are a little tight and there was smoke from the kitchen permeating into the dining room but we still had a great experience. We’ll definitely be back!!”

“Great bar and grill close to home! We always run in to someone from our neighborhood. Excellent menu that has something on it for everyone. I've heard the soup is great, just ask Lou and Karey. We just ate there and the Junk Chunks and chicken wrap were fantastic. This place is always packed on the weekend during football season. Even the Keno machine was paying out tonight! “The food here is great. I ordered a chicken wrap for $9.50 and then paid an extra $1.50 for fries instead of chips. I was expecting a small wrap and a little bit of fries. When it came out, there was so much food and fries. As for taste, it was really good. The French fries remind me of fair fries. Not the cheap frozen stuff. And finally, the customer service. The bartender’s name was Julia. She is very attentive and polite. There’s seating at the bar and tables for people with families. Come check it out!”

“Pizza is great. It's not only giant and inexpensive, but it's absolutely delicious! The foldover cheesy bread is incredible. Staff is extremely friendly and they really appreciate the support. They have multiple great looking specialty pizzas, so we are absolutely going back to try them. I'm so glad they were finally able to open the Sylvania location!”

“I've visited 2x and the food was inexpensive, fresh and delicious. The wait staff each time was friendly and had good quick conversations. I love the place and the decor. The art work on the walls are bright happy colors and fun to the eye. The wait staff was young adults and they dress fun as well. When you walk in you could not figure out who are the workers. I recommend name tags... I will be back definitely!!”

“Ordered a large pepperoni and chicken pizza with a small garlic bread. It was very good! The sauce wasn't sweet like most chain places. Lots of cheese and a good crust. The bread is a partially sliced loaf with cheese and seasoning melted in. Very good! The pizza box was stapled shut and the order took just over an hour. The only real negative is the parking that is right off of Bancroft. I'll be back!”

I don't like the fact that they started to sell beer, but I know people are just trying to compete for business. “My husband and I were driving from our home in Indiana to Pittsburgh and we were hungry. We called Shorty’’s in the car to order take out but we were running behind and told the girl on the phone we would arrive about 15 min after closing. She said that would be fine and they would wait for us. We got there and we were famished and asked them if we could eat there and they said that would be fine. The staff here is so nice and accommodating. I would highly recommend Shorty’s. And yes... the food was amazing!! And my husband and I truly closed the place down! Thank you Shorty’s!!!”
