Applebee's Grill + Bar

Applebees is the same no matter which restaurant. Ceasar salad and tomato basil soup. Husband had the same with chicken tortilla soup. Both were just ok. The food at this restaurant chain has changed over the years. The food is not as filling and delicious as it used to be, say 5 to 10 years ago. The portions have gotten smaller and yet the prices have increased. Dining area was clean, bathrooms needed attention, waitress was nice and attentive. Hadn't been there in a while and decided on a whim to dine here. Will I go back? Maybe not for a long while again, so it will be a new experience, when I do visit. Thank you!

This rating is for our Bartender/Waitress, Kelly, no for the food...or the restaurant itself. We love this girl!! She really is pure sunshine in this place. She always welcome you with a great smile, she makes you laugh even when it you are having a bad day. She will put your order right away. Knows what you like to drink ( this is if you go there long enough, we have no much choices in this town with what you'll consider a medium scale?... no even that, but whatever). Anyway, Kelly is just wonderful to be around. Food gets a 3, maybe?

Applebee's is a pretty decent place. Their 2 for $20 or $25 is a good deal. Some of the menu items are kinda pricey for the portion, but overall it is fair. The best deal is their promotional $1 drink of the month. Had the Hurricane today and it totally rocked!
