Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Food was good. New construction so clean restaurant. They still seem to be working on getting their footing with customer service. Was out of the piece that went with my meal. Offered me another piece, but I said that I would wait. Good customer service. Then a bit later (a manager?) came over to the counter where I came back up after a bit to wait for it. She said "Are you waiting for that order?" I said "Yeah, that" and described the piece of chicken I was waiting for. She said "Well, I haven't even dropped that". So I looked her straight in the eye and said "Well then drop it and I will wait". How stupid do you have to be?! If you are out of something, make more immediately especially if you have an order in waiting for it! Bad customer service. Also, they don't fill the container for your side like most other stores do. Like only half way. A lot of other stores give you break on price for some things too. Like add another drink or a regular size side for a dollar. This place nope, not a thing. But I will say again, the flavor of the food is top notch.

So I'm used to more established Popeyes.

I asked for 2 types of sauce, was told there was a 25 cent charge beyond 1. Fine.

They'll give me 4 tenders but not 2 sauces.
Mind you, I paid for a 3 piece tender meal.
I think the chicken is more expensive than a couple sauce cups.

Now the newness is over, employees are knowing what to do and doing so much better than the previous opening reviews. I am very pleased with a recent visit on an off peak day and time. Tenderly juicy blackened strips, and onion rings were cooked perfectly, given to me hot and fresh made. Great job to those who are doing well in this new location. Thank you!

I'm telling you all a secret - get the blackened chicken tenders with blackened ranch dipping sauce. It's the best kept secret in fast food grilled chicken. So flavorful, good spicy kick. It's incredible. For making a "healthy choice", it's one of those rare times that the flavor profile is actually a step up.

Fast fresh & friendly service but...This food...so processed. The beans taste like a barrel of salt and smoke flavor # 5 were added. The chicken was so greasy. The biscuit was also incredibly greasy. I don’t think I’ll ever have Popeyes again.
