“Was recommend to try Little Fish by some friends and it did not disappoint. The ambience with turn of the century brick walls and modern day finishes and an upbeat vibe and atmosphere is what we need more of in Dayton. For food we got the burger with fries and the trout. Both were unexpectedly 5star chef quality. The flavors in the trout dish were perfectly paired with a little bit of heat and fresh. The burger definitely is one of the best of Dayton. But the big winner was the fries. They are hands down the best I’ve ever had. Fresh cut shoe strings firs with house made ketchup and a garlic aioli. Spencer, the bar tender was awesome and delightful to talk to about the menu and beers. If I could give more than five stars I would. Can’t wait for the in-laws to come into town and take them here.”

“Great place to live, very friendly staff. Residents are very diverse and friendly. Parking is sparse if you have guest. The Local Cantina can get loud at time, but nothing too bad if you close the windows. They do have a bit of a dog poop problem because people are not picking up after their pets. There doesn't seem to be a weight or breed restriction. There are some amenities I wish the building had, but overall I like the community and feel safe on the property. Now if they would just put in a dog wash station and visitor parking or enforce the parking rules period that would be great. There is no one monitoring parking after hours. No maintenance on the weekends which means no one takes out the trash and it tends to overflow. Despite all I would still recommend the property.”

“The food here is fantastic! This restaurant is a hidden gem. This was our first time here. My meal was so good I forgot to take a photo when it came out! I got the nachos with beef/chicken/shrimp on them. I substituted rice for the refried beans and it was a brilliant idea. The salsa was a bit thin than what I prefer, but the flavor was all there. They gave each individual at our table our own bowl of salsa which was nice. Our waitress was attentive and timely. We are very pleased and will visit again.”

It's not expensive and you get a lot of delicious food! We had the lamb and rice bowl, lamb shawarma wrap, meat pie, and baklava. Everything was excellent and flavorful. “A wonderful atmosphere, dedicated staff, and delicious meal. The smell of the wood fired oven fills the restaurant, and is lovely. Upon entering you place your order at the register and then head to a table. Before our meal came we were served olive oil cake, which I had never heard of, but I greatly enjoyed the subtle almond flavor and light texture. I ordered their signature Sugar Guild Breakfast which is a great way to sample different offerings. I substituted the over medium eggs for their herb eggs. The biscuit was obviously made from scratch, and served hot and fresh with their excellent gravy. The potato had a dark, crispy exterior and nice crunch that contrasted well with the soft interior. The egg was light, and fluffy, flavored with the herbs and a nice hint of smoke. And then the bacon was last. It has a sweet coating, and was slightly crunchy, yet soft and pliable which I feel is the perfect cook on bacon. All of it was great, and I will return for more. My girlfriend ordered the oatmeal. It was shockingly large at certainly more than a liter of oatmeal and almond milk piled high with strawberries, blueberries and brown sugar. She said it was the best oatmeal she's had, and such a generous portion.”

“The bourbon chicken is great! Found them at the pumpkin festival last year and had to mark their address so we could visit- it is that good. My husband likes his with their red beans and rice. I got mine with Cajun potatoes and green beans. I didn't care for the green beans- tasted like too much vinegar to me. 1st Photo is a large bourbon chicken with potatoes and green beans. 2nd is his with red beans (delicious!) And spicy rice. Update 9/2022: same great bourbon chicken! Great with the spicy red beans and rice. Worth the drive from Columbus.”

Also got the chicken, collard green, and Mac and cheese. All were delicious and made to order within 30 mins. Definitely give it a try. “Disappointing. We went to the new store in Hollywood casino on the second day they opened. First disappointment was seeing that this is counter service only. We were not really hungry, so I ordered two burgers and 2 drinks. The bill comes to a little over $40! I just got instructions to pick up order further down the counter, so we moved on down and waited. The pick up area is shared with Take 2 Grill, same workers handing out food for both places. I waited about 10 minutes, while chatting with 3 or 4 other about how long the wait was. Orders would appear under heat lamps. No attempts to find customers, some noticed food that looked like theirs and requested the order. There were 9 tv monitors, but did not see any number system. After about 15 minutes, I saw an order that looked like mine, I approached the counter and it was mine, the lady pushed it my way, but I noticed it was missing the Wahlbrewski. The workers retrieved the beer she had poured about 10 minutes earlier and put on the tray. After sitting down, I could see 2 additional monitors, displaying the name Take 2 Grill logo and numbers for orders up, and presumingly for the Wahlburger place, but not communication to confirm this. Anyways the burger was good as was the brew, not really worth the money or time. I realize this was their second day, the system needs work, still unreal price for 2 smallish burgers, a small 12 ounce shake and beer, served by counter service.”
