We had good meals at the original CJ CHAN at Dayton, Ohio location, but found it too crowded in weekend nights. On our way back from attending a organ concert in a Springboro, Ohio, we decided to try out this one. Even though we were not really hungry, we were delighted to try their stir-fried Thai beef "ho fun" (rice noodle) along with a pot of barley green tea, both were excellent. Both owners of the establishment were there as this location did not have the great traffic compared to their original eatery.

I love places that do a few things well. This has both Chinese standards done very well, and sushi. The food is really good. The only bad meal I've had there was an off menu authentic dish that I just didn't care for. It wasn't the restaurants fault. I just didn't like it.

Best asian take-out that I've found in the neighborhood. Menu is mainly a mix of typical Chinese and Japanese dishes including a variety of good sushi. Portions are generous, service is quick. You can eat in but the restaurant interior is small.

It was a very pleasant atmosphere and quite cozy... Employees were very friendly and our food order was promptly served and hot.... Dining area is small but cozy... A lot of carryout orders and people don't have anywhere to stand while waiting for orders. Makes it less relaxing for people eating in and enjoying their food in the dining area.. Need a screen or wall to separate carryout customers from customers eating in dinning room.. But I would definitely return and food was prepared nicely and employees were very attentive. I gave it at star rating because of the overall quality of the food and courtesy of the staff. They can't help the lack of space... but still a relaxing atmosphere even with the busy night. ????????

Food is delicious. Ample portions. Very reasonable prices. There are times when place is very crowded so expect a wait for a table. Carryout is quick. Japanese, Chinese, Hibachi and Sushi.
