Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

Very good products! i love the strawberry ice, but when they don't have that i will get something else. their flavors rotate so if you have something one time it might not be there the next. its worth a try and everyone has been really friendly in all my visits so far :)

Rita's is always a tasty experience, but I wish the Kettering location across from The Greene would regularly offer custard flavors besides vanilla and chocolate. They used to regularly have other flavors. Now it's just those boring two all of the time. Anyway, the ice flavors are great and tasty.

What a nice treat! Based on the recommendation of the girls working there I got then Italian ice with the custard on top. It was a great combo! I got the Swedish fish with vanilla. Tasty treat! I got the kiddie size which was pretty big! Husband got the small and that would have been too much for me. Only criticism is that the girls start closing the store before closing time. We got there on a rainy night and they only had the outdoor walk up open at 15min before closing time. They had the door locked to the store. So you had no choice but to order and be outside.

Great spot to cool off with delicious Italian Ice. I'd recommend the mint chocolate chip or lime, both are refreshing and pack a ton of flavor.
My wife and I usually share a small or medium, but splurge on crazy hot days or after a long hike.
The staff is always happy to let you try any flavor and generally seem happy at their job.
