We love eating here, and the staff is courteous and helpful. Food is delicious. My advice is to call ahead to find out what their wait time is. Reservations would be a great idea. Parking can sometimes be an issue when they're busy.
We love Treasure Island. Have been going there for over 25 years. Last night was the worst in 25 years. I had the Pork Tenderloin Sandwich and it was huge and delicious. My husband however had a cup of Chili which was good but he also had the "Seafood Platter" which consisted of one very small piece of cod, two shrimp, one small stuffed crab, two small frog legs, two small scallops and side of decent broccoli. The seafood was all undercooked and tasted "boxed". For $18.95 an Admirals Feast at Red Lobster is a MUCH better meal. The service and ambiance was good as usual. We will be back but cautious about what we order and hopeful of a better experience.
Great place to get a dinner. Awesome service tonight. Food was cooked correctly. Just have to say that I was under amazed about the king crab, I had pretty small legs but there were tasty but at $33 I really expected better, my wife got the prime rib and was cooked to perfection temperature wise it was just lacking flavor for my pallet, since I prepare it a couple of times a year I prefer more seasoning. I understand keeping with the recipe and tailoring to the crowd though. Wish I had this restaurant in my town. If you are disappointed without understanding food it's not their fault!
I love Treasure Island! It was my husband's birthday and our waitress was just the best! Anything we wanted, she was more than accommodating! Food very good, but only complaint is that we had friends with us and their food was not hot. We had raved about the food and then that happened! Also our prime rib had more than the normal amount of fat in it. More than 1/3 of our slices were fat and inedible. What we could eat was delicious, however. This one of the few privately owned restaurants left in Dayton. The line waiting to get in after 5:30 pm should be an indication of how people like the place. I will go back, although the food was not on par with how it normally is.
