Loved the flavor of the food. Also learned that Saturday is the only day they serve breakfast and they have a rotating menu.

One of the best new restaurants around. My wife and I ate there for the first time and we will return most definitely. Their sides, collard greens, pinto beans and the like has no meat in them so vegetarians can enjoy them also and the are some of the best greens and beans I've eaten. We hope their around for a very long time.

Great food. Even better service! If you're looking for legit home cooking from a local, family owned place, you have to try Ms. Betty's. It's a simple place but warm, inviting and literally smells like you're walking into your grandmother's kitchen. Had both the BBQ ribs (fall off the bone perfect) and Salisbury Steak (the gravy is awesome). Mashed potatoes were killer. Through all of that though, Trey, the server is another reason you'll be back. What a polite and hospitable gentleman. Do yourself a favor and get away from the macro chains and help this place thrive. Loved it. Going back for the smothered pork chops tonight!

Simply the BEST HOME cooked soul food I've had for years! Took me to my youth, when my mom would take fresh veggies out of the garden for dinner.

Picked up some dinner tonight on my way home from work. It was Friday so they had only seafood on the menu. I ordered the seafood Mac and cheese with sides of green beans and fried potatoes & onions. It also came with two slices of bread. The portions were so generous, there was enough food for leftovers after my husband and I stuffed ourselves. The Mac & cheese was fantastic as well as the potatoes. The green beans were good but a little bit on the salty side. Everything tasted made-from-scratch.
The owner, his son, and all of the workers were very nice and friendly. We will definitely be going back often. I am so tired of chain restaurants. This is a great alternative—let’s support this local business!
