I ate here and highly recommend! Staff was super friendly and their options are great. I got some taco Al pastor and they made the pastor fresh right in front of me. Black beans were awesome and had a good kick to them. Finished it off with an ice cold pineapple Jarrito
Tacology and the Downtown Exchange area are really great; I hope there is enough interest to make it work.
Why 5 stars? A burrito isn't complicated and the ratios of the components are very much up to personal taste. My measure for a burrito is if a Burrito is better or worse than Chipotle. The Pastor burrito really hit the spot; and an extra .5 stars because the two people working yesterday were super kind and made the short interaction an experience.
Alright tacology is the taco stand in downtown exchange operated/owned by local Tlaquepaque and El Parin owners.
This might be a middle ground for the classic North and South battles for food supremacy. Kind of like Donald's vs Darrell's. Darrell's was king but it's been downhill for years, imho. I'm an El Parin fan. Once it opened, we kind of stopped going to tlaquepaque, which is good, but El Parin is amazing.
Back to tacology....
These tacos are extremely tasty. On Tuesday, they have taco tuesday for $ 1.50 each..
I had 2 steak and 1 chicken.
The guacamole was okay, as was the mild salsa. El Parin has the best salsa locally and I hope they bring that salsa to tacology.
5 star tacos 🌮 😋
