“The food was fantastic, but the service,... it took 50+ minutes just to get appetizers and another 40 minutes to get our main courses. I understand and can appreciate being understaffed in these times, but close a section of the restaurant and don't make the 2 waitresses and manager cover the entire restaurant. So if you have 2+ hours for a fantastic meal and beautiful Christmas decorations in Aurora, this is your spot, but if you want a good meal in a reasonable amount of time I would suggest going to one of the 3 restaurants across the street.”

“My husband surprised me and my long time best friend with the believe package. From the moment we walked in everyone was so nice and professional. We were taken to our room which was amazing. King size and jacuzzi tub! Soft clean robes and flip flops. Dinner was absolutely amazing. The pianist even played a song for me. The bartender was very nice along with all the waitresses. Everything was amazing. We spent the night and the next morning we have muffins and coffee and mimosas. Best coffee I had in my life. Our massages were amazing. All of the staff were great. Definitely coming back!”

“My family and I drove by Sand Pebbles and decided to try it out. So glad we did! Sand Pebbles is our new favorite spot for delicious sushi. Try the Caterpillar and Dragon roll. The fish is so fresh and the owners are delightful. We have been to Sand Pebbles 5 times in the last two weeks. It is definitely a must for sushi on the back patio.”

“Good food at an affordable price. This restaurant recently changed names with a new owner and chef. The food is really good with a pleasing presentation. About 15 tables/booths. General Tso chicken if tasty with just the right amount of spice. MeiFun is a tasty noodle dish. My wife and I refused to go in when the old owners were running the place. Since we checked it out a couple months ago, we've been back at least once a week and sometimes more often.”

Truly a good time with people that make you feel like you are part of there tribe. We recommend getting the food you love as the chef they have is excellent with the menu provided. We got the wings and they do not disappoint. They have whole wings. We recommend that you go on a Wednesday for wings and wine. Also, for a bit of extra excitement ask about pairing wine with the menu. Come and have fun. Be prepared for a mid level bill with two getting out for under 100 with drinks, apps, and appetizers. “This is definitely a homestyle Texas BBQ restaurant! For people who,are complaining that they have ran out I can absolutely understand why! The ribs were fantastic and seasoned well needed absolutely no sauce they were just fine on their own. The pulled pork was amazing and very moist. We also had brisket and pork loin. Both were a little dry but still had a wonderful smokey flavor and the sauces helped with the dryness. Get your own refills empty your own plates like you would at your mommas or grandma's house. The staff were very friendly and the food was great. I definitely recommend a visit here.”

Parking is also challenging as there is a lot but very few spaces. The crowd on a Saturday night was 65+, not sure if that's typical. The decor and atmosphere is kind of traditional and old style tavern. Again, it's not bad, but it's a bit pricey and blah. Try and see for yourself.”

The barmaid, Cori was personable, attentive, and inviting but I could not find a way to have her suggest to the hostess at the door to not give weird stares at the only black couple in the place. The hostess also never greeted us when we walked in. We had to basically greet her and tell her we would seat ourselves at the bar. She was extremely standoffish as well.”
