The Q

Having lived in Texas for many years I have a hard time finding good BBQ. I feel that I am being generous with the stars because the owner was so friendly and helped us so much.
We got the 4 meats and two sides. Brisket was chopped and dry... I’m used to nice smoked slices of brisket..(especially paying $21 for the plate) the carnitas or pulled pork was very dry... the jalapeño and cheddar sausage was good once we put bbq sauce on it..(delicious)... the ribs were a nice portion however they fell short because of how over done they were.. half was inedible because of the toughness and the other half was tender.. what we could eat was good with some seasoning and bbq sauce added.
The sides we got were Mac and cheese and that was great!!.. the corn casserole was also delicious!! (First time having it) we tried the cold sides but I personally don’t like miracle whip and it tastes like that... other wise they were flavorful. Overall we will try it again but we will definitely not get a few things again, the owner makes you feel welcomed and also makes you want to come back to say hello. I recommend this place if you want something other than fast food .
