“An awesome local coffee shop! They recently opened despite COVID and it’s family run and definitely family-oriented as well. There is a board game or other kind of casual game on each table, with an overall relaxed atmosphere. The shop is nicely decorated and designed to be a local hangout. “Having lived in Texas for many years I have a hard time finding good BBQ. I feel that I am being generous with the stars because the owner was so friendly and helped us so much. We got the 4 meats and two sides. Brisket was chopped and dry... I’m used to nice smoked slices of brisket..(especially paying $21 for the plate) the carnitas or pulled pork was very dry... the jalapeño and cheddar sausage was good once we put bbq sauce on it..(delicious)... the ribs were a nice portion however they fell short because of how over done they were.. half was inedible because of the toughness and the other half was tender.. what we could eat was good with some seasoning and bbq sauce added. The sides we got were Mac and cheese and that was great!!.. the corn casserole was also delicious!! (First time having it) we tried the cold sides but I personally don’t like miracle whip and it tastes like that... other wise they were flavorful. Overall we will try it again but we will definitely not get a few things again, the owner makes you feel welcomed and also makes you want to come back to say hello. I recommend this place if you want something other than fast food .”

“Stopped into The Shelby Q today for a bite, I was greeted warmly by the Owner, Mike, and that's when it hit me... The smell! That wonderful aroma of smoked and barbecued meats, mixed with a little sweet and smokiness of baked beans.. my moth immediately started to water. I ordered a pulled pork platter with corn casserole and coleslaw, I got the mild sauce, and a drink and it was less than $8. The pork was tender with a good smoke to it, and with the sauce on the side I was able to taste just the meat before it was masked in any way by the sauce. The sauce was sweet and tangy with a warmth but not heat. The Cole slaw was crisp with a bit of a bite that offset and complemented the richness of the sauce very well, and the corn casserole was sweet and rich with some crunch from the corn kernels cooked right into it. Over all a very well made bbq dinner and a very fair price. The store was comfortable and clean, and again, the owner was polite, friendly, and inviting. Definitely a new "go to" for bbq In the area.”

“The Shelby Domino’s team is always fast, the food is always amazing and hot when we get it. The delivery drivers are nice and personable. One time they gave us a plain pepperoni instead of a pepperoni and banana peppers pizza (we did not even notice), they delivered it and we were eating... get another knock on the door and it’s our drive with the correct pizza, apologizing for an error we didn’t notice or report. They place is ran well and it shows in every way!”

“A very welcoming atmosphere, Becky is a great bar manager and very funny too. Brilliant place to go with little ones in the day time. I have recently brought my granddaughter in who is 18 months old, we had food and she also took part in the colouring Easter compiticomp which is free to participate. They also have a children's corner which she really enjoyed, especially the chalk boards! Highly recommended!”

“We have been coming here since they opened and have always received great service. The owners here are incredible. The misses carried our son around once while he was doing what kids do best while out to eat. Her husband is currently on his was to pick up milk for our kids. They go above and beyond where service is concerned and food is always good too. If you haven't tried them give them a shot. I recommend the Quesadilla or any of their burgers. Keep up the good work.”
