“The lodge is magnificent! Very nice trails. Very well marked trails. My only complaint is that all the trails on the trail map are the same color and none of the trail names are listed on the map. The lake is gorgeous. Lots to see and do. Disc golf, game room, swimming pool. The lodge has rooms for rent as well as cabins and campsites in the woods. We will definitely be going back!”

“We visited midday during the week so we were the only folks dining. Our server took extremely good care of us. The menu has a decent variety and the prices aren’t bad either. This was a much better experience than our last visit when it was the O-Hee-Yuh (or something similar) however our receipt did have the old restaurant’s name on it. Just something to be aware of when you balance your account. Only negative was the odd choice of background music for the restaurant which was piano music without vocals for tunes such as “Wind Beneath my Wings” and “I Hope You Dance.” It sounded more like a funeral parlor than a rustic smokehouse.”

“Great local dairy bar. The ice cream floats and footers are delicious. Great atmosphere and this business does a lot for the community as well. They partner with the Sciotoville Community Schools for the the Star Card program which I think is amazing. Lots of old East High School memorabilia in the dining room which is a great piece of local history.”

They were kind enough to replace the entire incorrect order which added 1 star to my review, but be sure to check everything before leaving. Mistakes do happen and here more so than usual.
