Chloe's Diner

Went for the first time this past weekend with my husband. We loved it! We have traveled all over the US and have experienced many 50s diners. This is definitely one of the best in Ohio we have been to. Everyone needs to keep in mind this is a new restaurant, they are working out kinks and getting everyone in a groove.

Here is some constructive feedback:
There was a wait when we arrived, wasn’t a big deal it was nice outside and a lot to look at overall. I would love to see music be added. When you walk up outside and inside it would be nice to have some music to get the energy going.

Menu is a basic diner menu. We ate lunch so I can’t say anything about the breakfast but lunch was good. Milkshakes were great. They came in the metal containers. Getting old fashioned glasses with a cherry on top would boost the look of it and entice people to see them and want one. It was a surprise that they only make sliders. They are cute and for some people/kids it’s the perfect size but my husband would have liked more. I would love to see more sauces be added to the menu for the onion rings. Having the old chrome napkin dispensers on the tables with the red and yellow bottles for ketchup and mustard would look great in here. Place settings would make the tables look more inviting. There was only two booths which were very nice! There was a lot of empty space in the dinning area, I would recommend putting more booths along the walls in there, people like booths for the comfort.

The staff we interacted with was very nice. No one was rude. Trying to get people seated and things flowing.

Overall great experience and we will be returning again. This is a local business I would love to see succeed! Instead of giving a negative review if you did not have an ideal experience, try offering suggestions to help them.

Reading the other reviews concerns me. I went one of the first days it was open… no wait at all. I think people have to remember that this is something new. Not all of the workers have a large restaurant background. I think most of the servers have done a good job and are doing their best. Overall, the decor is phenomenal!! I expected the cheeseburgers to be larger. I did not realize they were sliders. I recommend this place highly but try to come at odd time to avoid a wait.

This is a new and busy place. But worth the wait! Simple menu, prices are good, serves was wonderful. There was an hour wait to sit inside so we sat outside, the weather was great! You are able to go inside to see everything while you're waiting on your food, or go after you have eaten. I look forward to coming back!

I had read some of the other reviews, so we weren’t quite sure what to think when we first went here, but we actually had a pretty good experience. We decided to sit at the counter so got seated right away, but I was paying attention to how long they told other people. This was between 1:30 and 2:00 in the afternoon. They were telling people a 30 minute wait, but I’m quite sure they were seating people sooner than that. We both ordered the patty melts, which were excellent, along with onion rings and fries. Everything came quickly and was very good. Everyone was hustling. My only small complaints would be that they were out of rye bread so just made both of our sandwiches on wheat bread without telling us. Also, they didn’t check back with us much at all to see if we needed anything else. Overall though, it was a good experience. There’s quite a lot of interesting memorabilia inside. I agree with those who are saying they could also fit more tables in there though.
