The food here is incredible. Everything my family had was delicious and came out in great time. The waitress we had was so kind and was fully willing to answer any questions we had about any meals or sides

The service was great. The way the food was presented was not. We received the sides first and then the meat... Seems a little disorganized. I called 3 days before our visit to inform them of the size of our party which is about 10 to 12. When we got there they were not ready to receive that size of customers or patrons but they did get it together, the seating. This place is fairly new in Massillon, Ohio and improvements are needed. However a nice place.

The food is Amazing!! My family and I are from the South and this place by far has the best fried catfish around, and their macaroni and cheese is so cheesy and delicious! I think they even make their own homemade tartar sauce, I really enjoyed it.

I also enjoyed their baked beans and LOVED the yams, they're both on the sweet side which is my favorite. And I was so excited to see that they offered fried okra. My family also got the fried pork chops, potato salad, green beans, peach cobbler, and banana pudding. Everyone left satisfied and happy.

My pictures don't do the food justice. I'm going to add this place to my list of regular places to come to for delicious homestyle southern cooking.

This place would be a great place to hang out with friends on the weekends They have pool tables, a bar, drink specials throughout the week, lots of TVs, and they have live music on Saturday nights.

I'm sad they don't have better reviews. I didn't experience any of the things the other reviews talked about. It was a little hard to find, there is a sign outside but the entrance is on the road opposite the sign (there's a BBQ flag next to the entrance), but the service was very friendly, portions were great for the price, and the food came out in an understandable amount of time for a local sit-down restaurant that offers fresh homestyle cooking.

I love this place it's like being in a restaurant and a sports pub at the same time. And if you love soul food this is definitely your place to visit. The prices are reasonable and won't hurt your pocket. You can find a great meal under $20. They make your food fresh. I had fried pork chops their delicious and famous smack your grandma yams and greens (they were not overly salty which is great news for HBP sufferers). And the staff is very much family friendly oriented ❣️ ‼️
