Good fish and slaw. They get busy so go early or be prepared to wait. Nice casual spot for a drink and dinner.
This was our first time here. Wasn't sure what to expect. It's very small inside and there's an added closed in area. There's a ramp to get in. When you walk in there's dollar bill's hanging all over, the walls are covered. Lots of cool things hanging to look at. Feels like a seafood shack you'd see along the beach somewhere. We ordered the all-you-can-eat fish. It's deep fried. If came out so good, not greasy, not too much breading. It was thick pieces either. It also came with onion rings and Cole slaw. Very good dinner. They sell beer and wine as well as mixed drinks. It's a fun place!
The clam chowder is to die for! Best I've had & I traveled New England tasting clam chowder! The fish is great & the alligator is awesome & what is in the sauce they serve with the gator, we love it! Great food, great service, great atmosphere, great prices, u won't be sorry!
Long wait but was worth it. Friendly staff. Food overall was good. Crawdads and gator for appetizers were good. Grilled salmon was really good. Fried perch was just ok...which was disappointing since that is one of my favorites. Good atmosphere. Rated higher for staff than for food...but will go back and pick something different.
For years, if not decades, my wife and I have been stopping at Eadies Fish House for lunch or dinner when we are in the area. It is the best inland fish house we've ever been to. It features fish fresh from Lake Erie as well as flown-in deep sea fish. It's prepared to perfection and served relatively quickly.
The place is popular, so get there early.
The decor is... different--a Hawaiian motif underlies a chaotic mixture of early seafaring/whaling minutiae. The walls and ceilings are covered by dollar bills that have been heavily decorated by customers. Oh, I almost forgot, there are car license plates from all over the world--most are from exotic islands.
The only complaint I have is that it is a touch too expensive for people living on a fixed income. But, our love for fish done right trumps our frugal nature.
Try it. You'll like it.
