Dave's Cosmic Subs Fairlawn

Feeling middle of the road on this one. Have had twice at same location, once at another. First time was pretty darn good, so when a new shop opened up in the city I work in, I was happy to stop in and get a sub. Tasty, but a little too much sauce for me (not particularly a condiment person). I dunno if I got a bad pickle, but it seemed like it hadn't been able to brine long enough, or it wasn't strong enough so it was a little like a salty cucumber. So the third time I visited, I bypassed the pickle entirely, and got the sauce on the side (tasted much better without, for me).

But here are my two downsides, and possibly my deal breakers. The bread is very crusty. No matter what comments you will reply with about Subway and their bread, it's just a personal preference to not have my sandwich cut up my mouth. There are other places that I also do not go to anymore because of this.

The second one: the mess. Now, it's not a big deal that I cannot eat this sandwich on its wrapping because it's covered in grease. But I was pretty disappointed that upon unwrapping, all my goods were not within the bread and I had to reassemble it. Some possibilities to consider, sliced cheese, and placement of the hot peppers (which are very tasty) underneath the meats.

always stellar service of this Dave's location. The staff is friendly the orders are well taken and will delivered. The quality of the food is on par with every other location I've ever visited. A quality product at a reasonable price, will definitely return.

After reading all the reviews I was super excited to try this place. Service was fantastic. I tried number one. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I felt like the taste was a little lackluster. I would be more than happy to give it another shot.

Where do I start? Long line to get food after 1:am but the line is worth it specially for their food made from scratch.

I'd never been in before even though the place had been open for months, and on a whim my roommate and I decided to stop in. We got a large of the namesake - the original Cosmic Sub, and we were both pretty impressed. At first glance, you're looking at a well-made Italian sub, but we soon found that it was definitely greater than the sum of its parts. The Cosmic sauce adds a unique flavor and its definitely addicting. Also Dave's got his own bottled beverages too, and they're pretty darn good. I'll have to come back soon and try some more off the menu.
