“Solid (as expected) Starbucks coffee with friendly service. The inside decor is a little more minimal than most locations, but still a good amount of room for seating. Would like to have seen them add a wood accent wall or some sort of additional decorative feature(s) to make the inside feel more high end and less generic for a Starbucks. The service bar is very deep which makes the serving process a little cumbersome for the staff and customers. Other than the decor and serving bar suggestions, this is a nice coffee shop to hang out and or work from.”

“A modern, shiny, new McDonalds. With electronic ordering kiosks. No character or soul. Fortunately, I was able to get a human to take my border and she was friendly and pleasant. Nuggets were fine, service was quick. Place was clean. Bathrooms are so utilitarian and soul crushing I was looking for Harry Potter's Dementers. So a 3 for being a friendly place with cheap, non-poisoning food, but just can't give anymore.”

“If you go first thing in the morning, it's very slow. Even when the people in front of you are only getting a single coffee. I want to chalk it up to new employees being trained but I can't say that for sure. As an every day customer, it's the same thing every morning and that's really the biggest problem which sucks if you're in a hurry. Also there doesn't seem to be much communicate because 3 or 4 times someone has handed me part of my order and another person brings me the same thing again and I can see the level of frustration when I tell them I already have that item.”

“I am in town for a couple of days, and as a HUGE Zane Grey fan, I had to try it. While I would have liked a bigger showing of Zane Grey memorabilia, I was definitely not disappointed. The service was fast and friendly (I was the only one there, so I felt a little odd), and the food was great. I loved the salsa (and I have lived in Texas for more than five years, so I think I have a level of expertise). I could see the pie case the whole time I was eating, and I couldn't resist trying some. The sandwich I got was pretty big, though, so I got it to go. Love it. Very tasty. If I get a chance to return to Bowling Green, I will definitely keep Call of the Canyon in mind. Now excuse me while I re-read the book.”
