“Oh, no! I just pulled the last of my Saums bratwurst from the freezer. Time for a road trip before winter gets here. A friend and i found Saums almost 2 years ago totally by chance. Intrigued by their claim of "Ohio's best bratwurst", we decided to check it out. We've been making the trip from Lorain County every few months since, to stock up our freezers. Brats, bulk sausage, smoked chops, etc, all a hit with family and friends. Just wish I lived closer so I could check out the daily lunch menu. Lol. Thanks Saums.”

“They presented me with the consistency we have all come to expect from McDonald's, and my eight dollars voiced my acceptance. That fifth star was for the truck parking out back. About eight big rigs can fit in back, as well as a dozen straight trucks and bobtails. Without that extra lot, I still would have stopped, but with my tractor parked precariously in a legal grey area. In a state full of sticklers like Ohio, that's just begging for a parking ticket. Glad I'm just passing through, and that I'm not stuck in Ohio.”

“The best part of KFC near Upper Sandusky is the buffet. I went on a Thursday after working at Kasai. There were several truck drivers and others that afternoon. I had chicken, crispy and extra crispy, mashed potatoes, canned corn, green beans, pork and beans and carrots. Also salad which included ranch, fresh carrots,lettuce, shredded cheese, dill pickles, and pickled eggs. Other buffet items too and a drink for 11.08.”
