I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich and it might’ve had three small pieces of ham on it. Mashed potatoes and brown gravy was lacking also. So my three stars go to the service”

“I must say, I was impressed with this place. The drive out was a bit skeptical but it's rural Oklahoma. We got sat immediately with our reservation. The wait staff was well mannered and elegantly dressed. Had a good vibe to the place. Very elegant in presentation, made you feel welcomed. Very prompt with staff and making sure you weren't waiting on something. Drinks were delicious. The food was excellent. The lamb chops just melted in your mouth. The rib eye was very well prepared and was juicy and very flavorful. Everything was very good. Since I'm a veteran they accommodated me for not being able to attend their veteran dinner, which I highly appreciated. The cost was very reasonable in our opinion. My date and myself were very pleased. Definitely will return to this place. I hope they continue with the great food and service.”

“We we're on our way back from Hodgen to Poteau and was starving, we pulled in and quite to our surprise the service was great and the food was amazing. I had 2 beef flour Supreme tacos and my husband had a beef Torta with some delicious sweet's for dessert. I would highly recommend to anyone that loves Mexican food. I don't know how or where the people from our little bitty country town learned to make Italian food so well but I know that I love these people and all of the food that the produce in that little building. I know people who refuse to give anything in Pocola a chance because we're so small and we don't have big corporate restaurants to choose from in this town but this is one of the only 2 restaurants that I know serves outstanding food in this town and I've bought pizza from Simple Simon's to feed them and they were amazed at how much better this pizza tastes compared to Pizza Hut or Domino's”
