“We returned to Talahina after roaming the trails around town. Were not hungry but I happened in TaliMena Mercantile. It is a very lovely little restaurant and the owner offered us a meal. I told her we weren’t hungry yet and as she was getting ready to close we regretted not being able to eat there. She wrapped up a stuffed pork dinner for us for later along with a pineapple upside down cake. It was delicious and pricing is very reasonable. She was very gracious and then opened up her gift shop where i found gifts for family. As I said, she was actually closing but took time and made a great impression on us!”

“Very cool place. I was road tripping on my motorcycle and a friend (Adam Sandoval) recommended I give this a try. It did not disappoint. The food was awesome, the waitress was great and the prices are ridiculously cheap! It’s like a throw back place and you’ll be glad that you gave it a try”

“Good pizza, good people. My only complaint was asking for 2 marinara on the side (maybe 1/2 cup total) and the guy charged me almost $8 for it. That’s $3.99 each. Not sure the reason for it, but next time I’ll just go buy a jar of Prego for $3 if I want sauce with my order.”

“Let me start by saying the waitress was very friendly and prompt. That was the best part about the whole meal. But the quality and quantity of food was lacking. I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich and it might’ve had three small pieces of ham on it. Mashed potatoes and brown gravy was lacking also. So my three stars go to the service”

“I must say, I was impressed with this place. The drive out was a bit skeptical but it's rural Oklahoma. We got sat immediately with our reservation. The wait staff was well mannered and elegantly dressed. Had a good vibe to the place. Very elegant in presentation, made you feel welcomed. Very prompt with staff and making sure you weren't waiting on something. Drinks were delicious. The food was excellent. The lamb chops just melted in your mouth. The rib eye was very well prepared and was juicy and very flavorful. Everything was very good. Since I'm a veteran they accommodated me for not being able to attend their veteran dinner, which I highly appreciated. The cost was very reasonable in our opinion. My date and myself were very pleased. Definitely will return to this place. I hope they continue with the great food and service.”
