-Ordered the Jerk chicken loaded fries, Fried Shrimp dinner with Jamaican rice, and some cornbread for the sides. Also had three wings added. Topped it off with a side of okra.
-If you’re in a rush I highly recommend you come back when you have some time to hang out.Hey, I’m being truthful here.
-Everything is made to order besides the chicken/ox tails. Average order take about 10mins..they’re already short staff but still throw down every time I eat there.
-If you love cornbread you better order more than two pieces!
-I love this spot, I’ve never had anything I didn’t like.their chicken is sticky and the smoke and the sauce is balanced perfect. Just the right amount of seasoning.
I haven’t even stepped out of my car, and I can smell the smokehouse seasoning in the parking lot; let’s just say I’m excited to get out and see what’s this business all about. Upon entering, the aroma flares my nostrils, and the music is pumping. I got up to the register and was greeted with a smile and asked the cashier what their favorite thing on the menu to eat, and that’s exactly what I ordered, except for the ribs only because their ribs are pork and not beef, just a heads up for my kosher people. I waited a good 35 minutes for my order, but in their defense, the restaurant has several televisions in the establishment on the sports channel to keep you occupied while you wait on your order. There is a bar on the right side of the restaurant, but I don’t think it’s up and running yet, but when it does get to selling drinks, this place will be popping. I ordered plantains, but the cashier later informed me that they were not on the menu for today, so instead, I replaced them with Jamaican Rice. OK, now let’s get down to the food. 😋The jerk chicken-loaded fries container was so heavy and full. The french fries had a boatload of chicken on top creamy, spicy, and rich tasting, all in one that I could only eat under a half of it. The Jamaican rice had a nice kick of heat, but it wasn’t overpowering. The sweet potatoes were cut into big chunks, and the sweet seasoning was all through the sweet potato. The menu said they served drinks but the menu didn't say what kind of drinks they had. I am hoping when I return to see Ginger Beer, Jamaica beer, Pineapple, or Hibiscus to be served here. I will definitely be returning to this establishment; but the only thing I would do is call my order in first. Everything that I ordered on the menu was 🔥
Wish I would’ve took pics of the food beforehand but the smell was drawing me in. I must say they do know what they’re doing in that kitchen. Everything I had was great. But that smoked and fried catfish and collard greens was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Pure heaven. Will definitely be back.
Try this place. Food, service, and music are worth your time. Ive had the ribs n chicken, both excellent...try the mac n cheese and don't skip the cornbread either they both on point. Guaranteed youll be comin back.
