“I hadn't had a Braums burger since they shrunk them and changed the menu, but I wanted a burger so I went to get one. I ordered a 1/2 lb bacon cheeseburger and asked for it to be cooked fresh. The cashier tells the cook who says and I quote "I just took a bunch off the grill" and about 30 seconds later he hands me a sack. I pulled the burger out and already feel that it's barely warm. I unwrap it and the cheese is coagulated. I pull out my food thermometer and start checking the temperature. It stopped at 140°F huh? You claim this just came off the grill though? The manager came and asked if something was wrong. I said yes, beef is supposed to be cooked to 165° and can be hot held at 145°. As you can see, this is maxing out at 140° when I asked for a fresh cooked burger, but your cook said he'd just cooked a bunch of patties. He took the burger and told the cook to cook a fresh one for me. He said something smart back and the manager told him he doesn't care! He then let me know it would take about 7 minutes to cook me a fresh burger. Now the remake was piping hot with melted, not coagulated cheese!! I drove half a mile home, got settled and it was STILL piping hot! Now that's fresh. And thanks for finding a few Pecans Pralines & Cream ice cream for me! That gave you a star boost!”

“The Godfather's is located inside the Tecumseh Loves store they keep a good a selection of small pizzas an they have a time stamp on them showing the day an time these pizzas were cooked an placed in the counter. Good place to call a pizza order in to pick up an take home. The bad thing is the wait, if someone is in there buying lottery tickets you have to wait till the clerk's wait on these lottery players. ”

“Godfathers has always had good pizza since my first experience with it in 1982. Even though this is a Love's convenient store and sold by the slice, it's worth eating even if it's been under the heat lamp for 6hrs. Of course it's loads better fresh, but how many pizza places do you know of that you can you buy slice that's been working on its tan under the same kind of lamp for 6hrs where the first to last bite is like eating a leather belt? Exactly. Or course you'll have the Ghost of Marlon Brando all up in your binuss want to make you an offer you can't refuse (yes, one can still eat Godfather's pizza in the afterlife. Duh,) but, if you get over that, and his attorney, the Ghost of Jonny Cochrane with his Chewbacca defense, then you check into question nuthouse after you finish that slice of 6hrs pizza,cuz you're seeing crap and you just ain't all there, friend. “We went this past Friday night for dinner. Friday nights are cultural themed; this one was Italian. The food is delicious, the portions are plenty adequate. The chicken in the dish was so tender I ate all of it almost not leaving room for desert- which is included! I had a lemon square that was so delightful and rich. Every single bite is a little piece of heaven. These folks have found their calling and that is making others happy with food. I will be back for German, Mexican, and southern Friday dinners as well. The owner claims she makes the best greens, and I believe her because I ate the best zucchini I have EVER eaten just last night at her restaurant. Classic, real deal, small town home cookin’. The atmosphere is unconventional in a very good way. It’s like old deli (order style) meets dive bar (live music) and southern kitchen with expert cooks going wild- all with friendly face owners engaging customers making sure all is well with your meal. I only wish I’d visited sooner. We are fans.”
